Yeah, Ben's is nice, but his case was made with a CNC. This is handbuilt. I am very impressed. This is the best looking N64 handbuilt portable I have ever seen!

You can follow bens book for the porable snes case. This is basicly the same method. Make a template out of card, and use that to cut the plastic (engraving plastic, sheet polystyrene, acrylic etc.. whatever you can get hold of) then bend the alumminum side wall and glue it on.

I'd rather not open the machine again because some of the internal cables are rather short and this makes it 'akward' to put back together.
But here is an old pic I took of the insides:

The pic shows two LM317T regulators in parallel, But I am only using one now (I found that adjustable regulators don't work well in parallel. One ends up doing all of the work and the other stays cold.)

They sell them in big hardware stores. Just look hard and you'll find them.

I have decided to name my portable the NINTENDO SIXTYFREE
(free as in 'you can play anywhere')
I have designed the logo, and will post pics when its printed on the machine.

if that happened then you probably only needed one...the same thing happens with normal regulators, one does as much work as possible and the other adds whatever's left...

Ahhh, that makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up, I've wanted to know the answer to that for a while now.

yeah, I figured this out when I was hooking up two 7805s to an N64 circuit and one of them was REALLY hot and the other one was just slightly warm...glad I could clear that up for you

...btw, nice N64p

!!!! I forgot to mention that the buttons look pretty damn good

..I could never get them to stay in place or even get lined up correctly, so I always used part of the N64 controller to hold the buttons, but on your N64p it looks better
