battery contact cover

I am workin hard trying to get my portable psone finished but I just ran in to a part in the book that I can't seem to figure out..

On page 388 towards the top its says:

8. Superglue the 1/4" battery cover over the leads on the outside of the case. Then glue the thin battery contact cover over that.

I have the contact cover piece that I cut out of plastic but I'm not familiar with the "1/4" battery cover". What is it? Maybe I just missed something in the text. Any help would be appreciated!

ive got the book and read over most of the stuff and i think it means the male connectors for the lithium ion battery
