This is very true, just look at the PS2 with all of the disc errors. I guess I am just impatient when it comes to new technology. I want it yesterday. :)
Life is a lot like a video game without the extra lives and continues.

Ill be paying the full 150 for a DS when I get it in a week or two, I think its worth the full 150, and Id rather not wait an undefined period of time for prices to go down.

PS3 - $300 - $450
I'd say if you get it anytime within it's first year, you will pay more than the higher end of that scale.

I usually buy my sytems about 6-10 years after they come out.
They said it won't be more than 40,000 yen. Which is about 450. Then they said it will be 30,000 yen. Which is about 350 dollars.

Wasn't that the same launch price as the PSX and PS2?

Yeah.

I was reading a new article a couple days ago (somewhere reliable), and they had re-projected 40,000 yen, and I doubt it will even be that low. This is supposedly 20 times more effecient then a P4, and has a top of the line graphics card. They kind of took prodution to far, and that will cause some high prices, most of which pay for the 300,000 transistors used in the PS3.
