Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Very good. And considering it is your first try, that's even more impressive. I can tell that you put a lot of work into it. Also, since it is your first post here, Welcome to the forums. ^^

I look forward to seeing more of your work!
Warranty-Voiding fun!

Hi Guys
Thank you for the kind words, they're very encouraging.
I'm really glad you all like it. :D :D
Triton wrote:that looks really great! what are the dimensions? it looks to be abut 2" thick? very good looking portable! nice to see people making these things it really is
It's just over 1.5ins thick, but the buldge at the back adds a little bit extra.
I really couldn't get it any smaller without hardwireing the jumper/expansion pack. (it doesn't contain an expansion pak at present).

jgibson wrote:WOW!! That is a beautiful portable!! Very professional looking!! I wish I could make something like that. Do you have a pic of it running?

Motoman wrote:That thing is a beuty! How long did it take you?
About 3 weeks (working on it pretty much every evening).

superdeformed wrote:Very, very nice :D. How much play time can you get out of the battery in that thing?
Probably not very much, as the battery is only rated at 1800 mAh. I haven't tested it fully yet. I usually just run it off the mains.

Yeah it's at the bottom facing upwards, so the carts slide down the back.
