Have anyone of you seen one of these?

I want to use an I-opener LCD screen to hook up to my snes version 1.0. The i-opener is a self contained computer which is incorporated inside of the flat pannel screen. It has its own os called QNX, varrient of unix. I looked it up on line and found that the i-opener can be hacked by installing a harddrive and would be able to run windows or linux. Furthermore, It has a usb port and one more can be added I believe, so it can suppport an ethernet usb nic card. It also has a printer port and an analog modem. Also has a 200 mhz cpu. I might do these upgrade hacks and just run emulators off of it. However, if I just wanted to use the screen, how would I go about hooking up my snes ver 1.0 to it. Here are some pics of an i-opener below. I'd part with mine for the right price or trade.
Instead of a cooling fan it has one giant heatsinc. Supposedly the screen runs on very little power. I think this screen would be great for what I want to use it for. pretty neat, huh? I might just use it as an oboard computer for my car. I've seen webpages of people who have done that. I'll make it look like a Batcomputer. I'll maybe install a camera to the monitor that records activity while I'm away from my car, or run some vehical diagnostic program for show to make people think my car's the batmobile. I have a name for my enthusiasim and it is "Batman" Can't wait to see the movie next month!!!!

Unless it can take composite, which I doubt, you can't use it. Also, crop your avatar. That must take half the screen for people on a resolution of 800X600 or lower.

If you'd ask me nicely (since your not a mod), I'd be happy to! And FYI it can be modified to accept a composite signal.

Thank you. Now, if it can take composite you can use it. However, if you need to connect the composite to that mobo, you will end up with a pretty big portable. But I guess the mobo's size doesn't matter when you have a screen that size.

I apple-ogize if I came off as mean, but we have had a wave of annoying members using avatars that are like 400X400, and it makes me mad when they have an 80X80 limit in the profile. You seem nice, and much unlike the other newbs(I guess they really are n00bs in most cases) that we've had(and still have *RFI*cough*) lately. Once again, I appologize.

BTW: I'm nos_slived, and I live in the same province as our resident toker, Cennar (you will understand the jokes soon). Really? How? I've not heard of this before. Though, I can't really see why you'd want to use the blur-fest STN LCD that is the I-O's screen for gaming (unless you managed to score one of the prototypes with a TFT). Still a neat little computer that's the size of flatscreen LCD monitor, though.

I am using a computer monitor. There is a device or cable that you can buy at a electronics store (around 20 or 30 bucks) which enables one to use a video game console on a pc screen. I've seen them before, and they are not very expensive. They can be modified to suit your needs. And you are right about the screen, it gets blurry. But i picked it up at a rumage sale for $5. bucks. If I don't use it for a portable, I might just end up using it for a novelty computer, or play around with it. I

Ah, I had the impression you meant to remove the screen from I-O. BTW, most of those TV to USB 1(the only type you could use on an I-O) aren't very good at all, blurry and dropped frames pretty much all of the time.
