The whole newbie/Senior member forum thing has been talked about. We really dont need one for each group. The reason is that we (Senior members) dont talk about stuff the is exclusive to only us.

And as to Bicostp, no I dont think you'd qualify as a vetrian. Why? Not enough time in and not enough positive work for the community.

I'm in the process of a PSoneP. (stage: all parts but battery and screen, need to redesign concept drawing.)

I've been busy at school (SATs, tests, reports...)

...And I'm lazy and cheap (All that's keeping me from getting that screen is cash.)

... And please don't let this turn into a flamewar. They never solve anything. :|

... and I'm going to get that screen this week (or next, it's Wednesday, after all.)

Im not flaming, but your excuse for everything is "im in the process of a psonep". If money is delaying it a few months, then stop mentioning it every chance you get, and add it to the list of unfinished-but-hopefully-someday-finished products.

 Yeah, I do use that excuse a LOT. But I think I have actually made progress recently! Really, the only pitfall I have yet to correct is the power issue. I have an RC battery, but I'm not sure how long it would last.

As for the screen, I have the Intec screenpad, but I would hate to take it apart only to wind up killing it. ;) So I'm debating weather or not to take it apart.

To tell the truth, my soldering slikks are CRAP. I am still practicing on an old power supply, so I don't ruin $50 of stuff. (that figure includes the psone and the screen.)

And my original concept was way out of proporton, so I'm going to measure the parts and put them into the PC and try making another concept. (I like the CNC routed case Ben made for the book, but I have no access to 10,000 dollar equipment. :(

We should have a little old lady's sewing circle for topics such as this! Just joking. Notice the utter sarcasim? I'm just wondering how many newbs or noobs (however it's spelled) out there think that they're not a newb and attack other newbs. We should all try to be helpful in the kindest way possible. I think a FAQ would be a great idea. Instead of flaming, somebody please make one. A great idea to bring to Ben's or the mod's attention. Peace! :D

An FAQ was already made. Gannon just deleted it. Ben has a copy of the backup that contains the FAQ, but he hasnt given it to anyone yet.
