Screen RGB too dark

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Screen RGB too dark

Post by Foxx373 »

Whelp, ive got another problem. I did the RGB mod. I have 75 Ohm resistors in parallel with the RGB and ground lines so the computer detects the screen. The resistors are in the cable, not the screen itself (screen and cable are detachable). RGB is way too dark, and this is after i fried some stuff on the board (im sure the components only affect compositre). Im using really thin cable (30 guge-ish). Im thinking the cable is whats causing the problem... Adjusting the color profile in power strip doesnt help.
