Bumper cam!

Ok... I'm using teo PSOne LCDs to view 2 bumper cameras on my car... Soon anyway! Well, I need to power the 2 LCD's att he same time off one switch. I need to bring the voltage down from 12v to 7.5, but would like to keep it safe, and run it at 7v. I want to build the circuit myself, but would also be interested in a SONY car adapter if anyone has one... Anyone have any ideas or concerns about installing the LCDs in my sun visor? I'm thinking heat issues. Any tips are appreciated!

I would sugjest you get a car adapter that can output around 7.5 volts and at least 1500mA and use that to power the screens

Do the LED mod. They will draw less than 800mA combined.

Switch is easy, just cut the power before the wire splits off for the 2 screens.

You can take the voltage to 8V with a 7808.
