DUCK HUNT: RELOADED

The year is 2040x. In a secluded lab deep within an Arkansas bayou the evil Dr. Von Dastardly has created a race of genetically engineered Super Ducks intent on conquering the world!

You are Ace McGavin, Medal of Honor winner and World War 5 veteren. Armed with only a double-barreled shotgun (and whatever else you can find) you must venture into the horror-filled bayou and hunt down every last mutated hell-spawned killer duck!

Along for the ride is Anna Coltraine, a sexy secret agent sent by the British government to assist in the annilation of the foul threat. She's brought with her an old friend - the un-cryogenically-frozen dog from the original DUCK HUNT! With his bionically enhanced nose (his old one got shot off in World War 3) he can sniff out rabid zombie ducks from a mile away! So when you hear his bark START SHOOTING!

Game Features:

Photorealistic Ducks! Specular mapping creates ultra-realistic feathers, beaks, mutated horns and fangs!

Real-time water effects! As ducks fall to their doom and make bloody splashes in the murk below, you can watch as the genetically altered Pirahnantors (TM) eat their flesh!

60 Different Weapons to Choose From! Including your double-barreled shotgun, .50 cal shoulder-mount rifle, rocket launcher, land mines, grenade launcher, crossbow, M1-Garand, surface-to-air missles, Bowie knife, model rocket with a pin on the end, dual .45 ACP's, Samuri Sword, Sock-holster Derringer, Pop Rocks and tactical nukes.

DUCK HUNT: RELOADED
Duck... duck... DEAD!

Any other ideas for this fine game? I think people would buy it! (It's OK to shoot ducks as long as they're EVIL ducks)

Sounds like another movie idea for you more than a game.

I knew the second I saw the title of this thread that it'd be about duck hunt :P.....anyway, resurrecting Duck Hunt would be great :)....
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Okay, make the duck's ammo the clay pots, and you need to shoot em down to win. then, in a fast-paced level, you ride an excited motorbike to chase after the ever faster ducks.

Wow, you forgot one weapon that you have to have... The original Grey/Orange Zapper gun reloaded with Duck seeking missals!
Dude, it's Duck Hunt.

DUCK HUNT!!! F-YEAH! :D I'm glad somebody agrees with me! 8)

Maybe they could hide an 8-bit duck somewhere in the game, and shooting it unlocks the original game.

How to cheat at NES duck hunt:

all you need is:
CRT monitor
Computer
NES with Zapper and Duck Hunt

Crank up the brightness and contrast on the computer screen.
Open a new window (or make an all-white PowerPoint slide, open Word, whatever)
Shoot the computer screen with the Zapper.
You will probably get a hit every time. (some monitors won't work, probably because of refresh rate.)

LCDs will not work. :(

This is something I've thought about - how could a light gun game work with an LCD? Since the next-gen systems are all about "the future" wouldn't this be a concern?

Granted light gun games are few and far between but you gotta wonder... Also wouldn't it be cool if there was a one-hand controller to move your guy around and you shot with the other hand? Then it could be a FPS instead of just an "on rails" linear shooter.

What would help Ben, is if we first found out why it wasn't working and work around it.

The cheat works because the bright white image sends a "hit" signal to the NES, because the Zapper merely detects light.

Why wouldn't it work on an LCD? I think it's because they're not bright enough, or something like that... I'm not sure. [scratches head in a confused manner] :?

i think it has to do with the way the iages are projected on the screen or somthing like that. isnt a zapper just a photovoltaic cell or somthing like that? dunno
