yah, it works on the ds (even with 4 regular AA's, which is 6v) nothing is wrong with it. i'm still finishing the PSP one, though.

HELP! I thought it would work, but the cable i put in the psp doesn't do anything.
Any ideas on how to check if the cable would run power to the psp if it was a wall plug?

Well, i'm not sure, but i'm going to solder it on soon. Anyone have any ideas on how to test it beforehand? I'll Edit this post with pics of the finished product.

i tried! If you put 4x AA's, (6v) it doesn't do anything. Not even light the charger light. with 4 rechargable AA's (4.8V), it works

Its because rechargeables can put out more current.

Not all. It is probably because the PSP can take less then 5.2V (due to voltage drop in a linear function with the capacity), but it refuses more than 5.5V (maybe a bit higher).

3. You're thinking capacity. They can handle extreme loads, it doesn't matter. Only difference is battery life.

2)No. You may have used it, but i have been using it as a signiture for a long time (2 or 3 years).
3)Yeah, i know. i screwed up there.
