Hmm...maybe have 2 sets of forums, "Beginner" and "Veteran".

"Veteran" is invitation only.

If a newbie becomes a respectable poster and contributes in the "Beginner" forum, they are eventually invited to the "Veterans" forum.

Vets can have access to both forums, but the "Veteran" forum would be free of spammers, and we could get really in-depth.

Been here 3 mos. And I actually know how to help people now.

It would depend on the mod's opinion.

ALso, since the term "veteran" has gottem me an IM already, they could simply be forums "One" and "Two".

its a good idea in theory but so is/was comunism/scocialism. i talked to ya about it on aim and i know it would cause more problems that it would fix. it would be too much like a "senior members only" forum. we dont need to seperate out the "population" of the forum we need to have better control of what kind of crap we let people get away with. if someone is beign spammy/annoying/ a nusciance we smack em with a warning, if they continue the get one more warning, if they still dont stop, temporary ban. if after their ban they still act stupid even longer ban or somthing like this. on the garrys mod forum he bans people like MAD for anything really, we should not be as bad but if a problem gets out of hand it should be taken care of. i think more mods might help or mebe just have them be more strict with what they allow. i dont know im just saying what pops up in my head so here ya are!

so are you thinking like a splicing a Doom 9 type of site with Doom portables?

if this were to be done, you would have to remake everything, including tutorials and whatnot.

Trhat popup blocker/search toolbar you have is spyware, just to let you know.

Actually, you can work wonders with tables, which he may have done (unless you were talking about the screenshot)

Anyway, doomportables.tk may be a little old, but the information is still the same for the most part, and gannon and I have some pretty good plans for it. For example, gannon was talking about (just throwing the idea into the air, nothing is certain yet) having different styles for it, which the user could choose. If PoD is so old, it's not like it cannot be recovered. I'm probably a bit biased as a runner of it, but still...
