Psp on-the-go charging?

i checked the adaptapugs, and the B plug was the SAME EXACT ONE. Unfourtunatly they changed it and the clerk told me it is now round. so it's not the same as the psp one anymore.

Do i NEED 5v? can i use 4.5? 3 aa's w/o a regulator as opposed nothing.

well, the pwr cable for the psp has a diagram and it kinda looks like this:

That means the outer ring is ground, and the inner ring is positive. I can't quite figure out what the 2 bottom lines of your digram are supposed to show. If you draw some pictures(by hand or computer graphic) and post them, it will make things a lot easier. It sounds like that is a standard plug, so if you look around, I'm sure you can find an adaptor to fit.

Yellow? If I'm not mistaken the yellow-circle-power-plug is used for the Gameboy Pocket, I think they use the different colors for each size, a sort of categorizing. Its pretty standard, if you have a Radioshack nearby I guarantee they'll have what you need, and probably for under 3 dollars.

When i went to radio shack, they had a dongle (sp?) with all the different adaptaplugs (really useful, bc all they are are the ends w/ positive and negative imputs) and the 'B' was the same one as psp (yellow, round with two little edges coming out) and i asked the clerk (i couldn't find one like that) and she said that now it's round and not like that anymore.

I found a cable that fits in the psp, and i bought it. i cut it so now i just have the cable. i could not get the regulator, so what are my options?
are 4 NiMH AA's (4.8v) going to work?

I set them up like this:

(this is an example using regular 1.5v AA's, the real time i'm using 4 1.2v NiMH rechargables)

Why not use a RadioShack 4xAA battery holder? (if there's only 3 batteries, you can solder a jumper wire across one battery slot...)

i went to radioshack yesterday, and i didn't see that. My dad said he'd make only one trip, and thats all he did. he won't take me again, so that's not possible.

digikey sells 4x1 AA battery holders. If you're going to charge them as they are (keeping them in the straight line and not removing them) then I'd suggest just taping them together

You can secure them with electrical tape, its not all that strong, but does the job.

I can't charge them that way, i'm not going to bring duct taped batteries, there are only 1.5 days left, so online ordering is impossible, and i'm not going to be able to go to radio shack again.
EDIT: i found a holder with a screw.
