Stories from the Star Wars Episode 3 theater (no spoilers)

Post by gamer2 »

i just got back from watching episode 3 just now and a lot of stuff happened in the theater where i was watching the movie like
-Kids cried when Anakin became Vader (its common sence)
-I went NO! when Vader killed a certain group of people

To me it explained a lot of things like why was vader in the bio-metric suit, why when he was in his 40's he looked around 70's at the end of ep VI
Why Leia was royalty and Luke wasnt

i hate how most of the new ones are computer generated...i honestly think if he put the effort in making set and such now a days they would still look a wholoe lot better and get it a more real look....everything now thats over done in CG have a fakey computer render look to it

At my local theater last night, the guy who played Anikin came out onto the floor and did a duel with another actor in the middle of the movie. They used toy lightsabers. It was in the newspaper this morning. 8)

Why do some people dress up in costumes when they go to the movies. Like Harry Potter, Star Trek, and Star Wars fans. Dont they realize they look really strange, and people dont think they look cool, they just make fun of them.

You know, that is pretty rude, considering that about 3 members have said they did that. Anybody who makes fun of them shouldn't be watching the movie, because they obviously aren't a true fan.

That is like saying that people who think they are cool shouldn't call themselves "Mr. Cool", because others don't believe them, they just make fun of those people, because they know it is just a 10-year-old Pokemon addicted kid.

OK, maybe I was a little rude. However: Just because Im not a "true" fan of it doesnt mean I dont like the Star Wars movies. George Lucas didnt just make this movies just for the "true fans" he made it for everyone. Also your second paragraph is a run-on sentence that doesnt make any sense. I still stand by the fact that you dont have to go dressed up as a stormtrooper, to show that your a fan. This is because, unless you are going with tons of other "true fans", everyone will think your strange, and you will have acchieved nothing, but humiliating yourself.

When I went there were a bunch of people dressed up in crappy costumes, but one guy had a full storm trooper outfit. It was pretty cool, and it put everyone else to shame :P
