I'm not sure but I think that if you wire about 15 together you can get like 20 min of play time :lol:

umm... different brands of alkalines have different cappacities.
I think the standard for a AA is ~1100mAh

how come on the phoenix site it says using alkalines will give you more playtime than NIMH battery's

Between 1600 and 1800, usually. The Energizer NiMh might have 2300, but I doubt the alkalines do.
