Interesting game-boy shapped NOAC on QVC.com

Post by tom61 »

Click here and scroll down. Has one of those stupid 11-in-1 mini LCD games built into it. Would be really cool if you made it work like it looks at first glance (a gameboy clone). Comes with a game-boy sized cart with 84 games. I wonder if it's compatable with the Game Theory Admiral, as that has a NES to small cart adapter.

Too bad that thing only plays cheap LCD games internally. You have to plug it into a TV to play NES games. :(

Exactly! So, why not cram in a Hip Gear screen where the LCD is and rewire the controller to work with the NOAC? 8)

That'd work, and itd be pretty cool.

Yeah, that's really not a bad idea... hmm. This thing does look pretty sexy. QVC has to be one of the shadiest outfits ever.

I don't see anything shaped at all like a gameboy. Just a bunch of weird controller-game things.

Must've sold out of them. Their stock of Famiclones vary constantly. Anybody here get one?

The stock varies so much, and the Famiclones are of all sorts of shapes and descriptions, that I semi-regularly check to see what they have. This is how I discovered the one I posted about.
