A new screen option?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

A new screen option?

Post by Sir Games-A-Lot »

Just browsing ebay for bargins and came across this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 06109&rd=1

but before you hit the "buy it now" a couple times that's plus $40 shipping from hong kong and $2 insurence. still $49 isin't bad for a screen considering it already has video/audio in. the only con i see (other than shipping time) is that it takes 12 volts to run it.

Much, much cheaper to rip apart a Hip Gear pad for a screen of the same size, once you factor in the shipping costs.

What's worse, I think he's even charging too much for shipping, as I've gotten stuff of the same size/weight from HK for about $25 shipping to the US.
