I have an old Dell laptop which is a Pentium 133Mhz with a 500mb hard drive and not enough ram (probably 16 megs). It has a nice TFT screen but I tried to get on the internet a few years back and it took a couple minutes just to load Yahoo. It does run Nesticle nice, though.
The funny thing is that even though it is a bit smaller than my IBM ThinkPad (it is a little thicker, but smaller width and height wise), the Dell weighs at least twice as much as the IBM.

Ah, old computers...
I am the proud owner of a pair of Commodore 64s, a disk drive for each, tons of software, a fast load cartridge, a Commodore 1902 color monitor, and a modem.
I also have a complete AppleIIc system with monochrome monitor a printer, and tons of software, though not as much as the Coomodore. All but the monitors and one Commodore have the original boxes.
I am also the proud owner of several pre-Pentium boards. They are a pair of VERY small 386SX-40s(one has a 387 co processor) with 16-bit ISA, and I may try to install 95 on one one day just to see if it works. If not, I'll install a Linux OS perhaps.
I also have verious 486es or varying expansion ports. One has PCI/ISA, one is VL -Bus/ISA, and 2 are EISA/VL-Bus/ISA. O.o Those two are very odd finds.
My only laptop is a 100MHz Toshiba 100CS (no, it hasn't been gutted for the LCD and video controller board. The 100CS LCD is no good for gaming, as it has considerable blurr.) Which I installed Windows 95 on. it only runs 256 color, and even that took a long time to find the driver for... that and I had to install 95 via an external Zip Drive and a homebrew Windows 95OSR2 Zip Disk.
That's right. Now all I need to install 95 to a computer is a floppy drive, a hard drive, and a parallel port. ^^
Wondering the method? Ask and I shall tell.

1978-79. Apple was founded in 1977, and they made the Apple 1 that year. (It's in the Smithsonian! Really!)
The ][ came out in 1978, and I think the ][+ was in 1978-79.
