Yeah...I've seen many an altercation start because of silly words like "slut" and "retard". Swearing is not neccesary here. Just don't do it!

So's mine.

All I did to it is put in a new graphics card and a CD burner. (And I started with a machine with just a chassis and a motherboard.)

I feel for you man.

I still don't see your mom's reasoning. RAM isn't a problem. It's just a board that plugs into a slot.

I just don't get it. Have you tried explaining that you know what you're doing, and that whatever you're working on (in this case your MP3 player) is already broken and there's nowhere to go with it but up?

Most people take my hacking and modding for granted. My friends, including my girlfriends, dont realize that i have my whole house on remote control. Or the fact that i have a security system I built myself that would rival some governemnt buildings! Or the fact that I can do all this amazing electronics gizmo crap... You have no idea how much I HATE hooking up the entertainment system in my house. All my smarts and skills go unrewarded.

As for the sluts deal, I know what thats like. By me, there are too many chicks that would trade sexual favors for drgus. I dont know any other word to call them. If I met a chick that said NO to drugs and YES to education, I would probabbly have some kind of mental episode.

My school's choice of girls is pretty, well, not pretty. Roughly 15% of the girls in my school are passably good looking, and only a few actually look good. And we have more than 2000 kids at the school. And about a third of the girls at the school are morbidly obese. And about half of the total female population are bratty, and/or sluts (er sorry, that's "sex requesters"). And, worst of all,I have recently come to the conclusion that I'm frequently being hit on by girls toward the ugly end of the spectrum. San Leandro sucks

If they are attractive, they're taken. (99% of the time)
The nice girls aren't attractive so you look over them (99% of the time)

You're either going to have to compromise, and realise that every girl is beautiful in her own respect, or you can try and compete with the guys who are only in it for the short term sexual relationship.

In any case, I'll stick to the Mormon chicks.
