best bet it is to do it the way ben did it..., he put the cart slot horizontally below the n64 board, nifty... thats kinda how im going to do mine

i mean that makes good for a thinner portable, but all i remeber from the n64 was taht if u even looked at your cart wrong the game might freez, and im not a big fan of having the cart stick out more than it has to, however we must do what we have to, and if thats how u wanna do yours, more power to you, and i hope it turns out great

under all that tape is the converters, the scsi cable i used to wire the cart plug... etc...

it was cool becuase i was able to use a solderless move of the cart slot, by using a special 6'' 50 pin extension cable, that had a male port on one end and a female port on the other, i just plugged the male end inot the n64 and the female end on the cart plug, had to ben the pins a little to get it in there but, once it got plugged in, it worked like a dream, however i dont think im going to do it that way this time
