PSP PINOUTS?
the controler pinouts, and possibly video/audio outputs are what im looking for.
im thinking of console-izing my psp, and using a "verbatum" brand 50 pack cd spindle as the case, and a hand built controler using parts (analog) from a n64 controler and tact switches.
im also thinking about using the rgb out from a n64, so i can use the cable on my tv.
im thinking about simply using the power supply the psp came with.
help?

How the hell do you expect to make a console out of a PSP?! The screen interfaces digitally to the motherboard, not through RGB or composite.
As for making the external controller, follow the traces.

You're right on the second point, but wrong on the first. Good luck figuring out the screen interface; it ain't gonna be standard DVI, I'll tell you that much.I FINALLY REGISTERED. wrote:it shouldnt be too hard, becasue i know that the lcd screen MUST accept some kind of digital signal, which shouldnt be TOO hard to export.
and... i could just follow the speakers to find the audio out.

GBA is fesiable, you already have Audio Out built in to the GBA, and Video can come from a TV de Advance (which yet doesn't exist for PSP or DS), controllers for the GBA can be made, some guy did with a Neo Geo PadThornwillow wrote:I was trying to think of a way to do this for the GBA, but it would be very difficult, it would be a while to find a site to decode everything...

Somebody please buy my Dreamcast >_> £20+shipping
