When did they say that? I both previews I saw plenty of screens that showed Halo 2, and they mentioned it a few times in talking, which implies backwards compatability to me.

Now I cant decide witch to get first, XBox360 or PS3? both have many grate new features and better graphics (duh). Heres a better questions, what one should I Try and make portable first.

It's called xbox 360 cause there doing a 360 on bacwards compatibility and are gonna make a mini xbox and sell it like they did with ps1

if it can not play XBOX one games then the system will fall from the market like a sack of bricks on Jupiter so i dont think microsoft will risk NOT being backward compatibility

Now if only they can figure out some way to work with Linux, not against it. I'm sure there is some way to do it. Heck, Novell is a pretty big company and they are huge open source supporters.
