Video failing! Circutry used is posted! Help!

I cant get video off of the board. I get sound off of it (game music) but no video.

I used the amp Goodie drew. but it doesnt work. Any suggestions? Like, is that amp wrong?

I am using an Intec Screen. I think its still good, but I am going to test it when I go home.

yeah... the purple wire should go to the nes power, not the red one (it'd probably fry it)

Which end? The 7805 end or the 2N4401 end? And what do I put in their place?

the 7805 end. Anyways, in that diagram you have 7.2V (or 9V if you're using alkalines) going into the +5V areas.

So disonnect the red wire that is connected to the nes and battery(both ends) and reconnect the 7805 end of the purple wire to the 5+ on the nes?

So nothing is left on that 7805 end?

you keep it like it is, but instead of having the red wire connect to the nes power have the purple one (before the resistor)

Also, is there anything else wrong?

Do you think the screen is short-circuited if the thing still lights up?

Anyways, can you or anyone else who knows what is wrong edit the png asap? I used gimp on mepis, but I just opened it in windows using paint, so anyone should be able to edit it.

Oh, anyone have suggestions for wire? Because I am using the salvaged wire from a power/reset board from another nes, and that might be a problem.

Yeah, the screen is toast.

40 bucks well spent.

Here is what I learned. Dont connect the negative and positive of batteries together. It will short-circuit the board.

Oh yeah, and if you had the nes hooked up like in the image you posted earlier it's probably fried too.
