"net send" is awesome! I was sitting in the comp lab for planning, and got board, so I sent out "Virus Alert!". One of my friends is like "Hey Dave! Check this out! My computer has a virus!". I told him it was me, so I showed a few people. In less than a minute, more than 50 messages were sent, and the office staff started to freak, so the computer students came looking for us. I will be in deep s*** tomorrow, but I will just blame someone else. No big.

Lucky you with your command prompt. That's all locked on my school's PCs.

you can do the net send when you go start/run, just put it in the field where you would show a directory :D

I think that you need Windows 2000 or XP, though.

The computers have XP, but its really stripped. There are like 6 options under the start menu. Aside from that, its connected to a Mac-oriented server, which further complicates things when tinkering with other things.

That's rich.

Code: Select all

net send [computer name] "message goes here"
don't have the brackets in the computer name, though.

haha, nice. Another way to get the command line (theoretically, haven't tried it on a blocked PC) is to enter cmd into the run window.

I just booted off of a DOS floppy, and it was like a Hollywood all-access pass! :D I could get into EVERYTHING!!!! I even left a folder on the Desktop on the Admin name named "HA HA LOL I BROKE IN!"

If you open the right Win2k files, you can get the passwords.

But I know them already (just have to watch very closely.)
