here is my proposal for a completely modular portable ps1.

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

i had a rig like this last summer before i sold it
it's really only good for playing while seated, but if you put it in a backpack, it makes a good cd player.
after years of reading, i finally decided to register.

COULD YOU PLEASE STOP YELLING?! OR AT LEAST TURN YOU CAPSLOCK OFF!

That setup looks too bulky and awkward for a portable, and I can't imagine how hard irt would be to play Crash 3 with that controller.

Ya I agree it would be good for sitting down but the battery pack is about 5 lbs. Not portable what so ever.

i had one, i know.

but seriously, who walks around with a portable?
the only time i play games, is when im seated. cant play when im driving, i walk a lot, but there's no reason to take a walk just to play a game.

the only time i play portables is when im away from home, waiting for something, or when i have downtime.
after years of reading, i finally decided to register.

With that battery, you might as well have the console in a backpack or something with a Hip Gear / Intec screenpad running off batteries for the screen and controller.
