Case mod?

Post by Sparkfist »

Well I'm bored and thinking of something to motovate me into moving forward with my other projects. So something simple and easy. I was looking over the Xbox -> PC case mod on xbox-scene.com, and looked at a PS(X) case mod as well.

Have a Dreamcast, PS2 and Xbox that are doing nothing but collecting dust. So by populat vote which system should I put into my now usesless computer case that is in my basment doing the same as my other systems, absolutly nothing.

Well with the xbox I only have Halo, Brute force and PSO all of which better when you have atleast one other person.

PS2 I feel out of interest right now with Silent Line Armored core.

Dreamcast I was going to portablize but I havent the money for the power supply, batteries and case.

As the computer I have is far superior to the POS I have down stairs I thought a case mod on one of my systems would be interesting. I also left out the PSOne/ PS(X) as its too small and well its not a computer in my opinion.

Ok cool. So are you going to do any other mods when you do the case transplant or just a fun mod to have system in a PC case?

Well I could install a mod chip in the Xbox or PS2 later on. The other thing I was really wanting to do was if I do the dreamcast I was going to make the GD-rom assemble look like its a tradional tray cd-rom. Not really much I can do beyond that that.

Ok as this thread is going absolutly no where, Gannon or Black Six close it down. I'll just put my xbox in the tower and when I get the money then I deside which system I'll do the case mod to next, both are going to cost me money.

JackFrost22 and s3ptic thanks for you input.
