heatsink question.

how do i place the heatsink?
do i just place the heatsink over the chip and use some type of adhesive to keep it there?

does it have to be solder'd to something?

or could i just ditch the heatsink, and put 3 fans in the box.

thermal adhesive. you should search a bit before posting, there are several other topics covering this. just fans with no heatsink probably wouln't work because there wouldn't be enough surface area to dissipate heat for the fans to blow away

If you can't take the effort to use the search button, then you're probably better off giving up portablizing all together.
