Activision TV Games Video Game System 10 in 1

Post by Sparkfist »

I was visiting atari2600.com and in the store they offer an activision tv game vgs. I want to know if it has a cartrage port? If not is ther any ??-in-1 controllers based on the 2600 that have cartrage ports? Otherwise I'll just look to buy a standard 2600 or a jounior.

Thanks for any help.

nope and nope. sorry.

These things all use emulators, so it would be very difficult, if not impossible (probably the latter) to make it use carts. chop down a 4-switcher :)

I'll be honest with you - I would have never guessed that.

yeay im pretty sure they dont have a cartridge port but you might be able to mod it but it would be a lot of work seing as they use emulators

Really?

I thought they dumbed down the 2600's hardware to fit inside that thing.

No sadly they just run them on using emulation software and cheaper harware. You can possibly get an atari 2600 into something that small. Just have to custom build the harware so that its smaller more compace design.
