Use a DS light frontlight on a GBC one quick question

Just a quick question if anyone has the time...

I've been looking all over for GBC frontlight mods, and every one i see is using the GBA sp front light... well i happen to have a DS light front light from a broken unit and i was going to use this as a front light... i know it eats more power but im going to have this GBC plugged in in a demo kiosk thing i got at a flea market...

What resistor would i use to hook this up? the 47 ohm one that the SP mod uses... sorry i can't seem to grasp the resistor thing
