most of the information you want to doing these type of things can be found in the case modding tuts and fourm of http://www.xbox-scene.com/ just apply the information there to a project box instead of an xbox case after at least partaly buliding it into your desired portable

better yet

Hi,
I was just wondering what kind of project box did you start with? The box seems like a good size for a radica project.
Thanks

Hey guys,

Sorry I havent been responding much. I've been so busy with work. I got the project box at Fry's electronics, it was much taller than it is now (probably cut 3 or so inches off the height). I used paint I had laying around that I use for my car projects (the dark grey is actually high temperature engine spray paint!). I took a lot of pictures of the process and still plan to do a writeup as soon as I get through this job I'm working on. Thanks again for the kind comments!
Completed: MegaJoyBoy

In Progress: NESp (completed custom case, working on internal electronics)
