I received this wii through a friend who told me that the wii would not eject the disc stuck inside it. he said I could keep it if I could get the disc out. I got the disc out and there seemed to be some kind of plastic red rectangle which was in the disc drive and didn't look like it belonged there so im guessing the lady he got it from had small kids who put it in there. either way I removed the red plastic thing. if someone knows whether or not its a part of the disc drive tell me. I removed the disc but it still didn't eject it when I pushed the eject button when the disc was still in there. it sounded like something was stuck. the disc drive may be easily repairable but I don't care to find out. I think its just broken to be honest but I explained how it broke so you can judge based on my explanation.
EDIT (7/18/11): I fixed the disc ejecting problem but there is this black thing in the disc drive which touches the side of the disc as it spins. When i hold the piece to the side the system plays games fine but im not sure what it does so i didnt try using hot glue to keep it in place. So if someone can fix that little issue they will have a fully functioning system. Pic of black piece below
