Portable computer forum

There should be a forum devoted to portable computers. That way anyone who wants to make one can go there to get info, instead, of posting thread after thread. When its in F42, no one searches to see if anyones made one and they just post topic after topic. If anyone agrees or disagrees with me just holla'

I mean this website is about portablizing. Particularly videogames, but hey, computers are pretty dang close. I wonder if ben would do it....

Hell he has portablised one pc himself already... and given that a PSone screen can be converted into a green sync VGA monitor that will display in 640x480 I think this is the perfect location...

Actually I wonder, if he knew that the PSone screen could be converted in this way, do you think he would have added one to his MGDp??

(PS sorry about the creepyness its actually a black adder quote, i guess as far as humour goes, i was being a bit TOO English)

Plus, when you think about it, any console is also a computer

consoles are SIMILAR to computer but it does not store information in the same way becauuse the definition of a cmoputer is:An electronic, digital device that stores and processes information. and that is form google so it6 must be right

laptops are mearnly one form of portable computer... there are PDA's, tablet PC's, ultra thin clients (having a battery power client would be interesting), and car pcs.

The point of Ben's portabilising website to me is to change things away from the maker intended and give them more functionality than previously considered.

Via the maker of ultra small embedded motherbaords is planning a portable game console release, that is already capable of play computer games up till 2000 or so... i think this belongs here (the forum i mean).

EDIT: I mean i think it deserves a portable computer forum on this site.

It seems that forums are only added after at least one person has built a portable of the type in question. Still, I think it would be good to add, that way all the nay-sayers can just ignore the forum.

Yeah. a few people should finish their portable computers before a forum is made. It just seems that everyone is saying "Im making one". Then they never finish (or start).

If a computer forum is made, the first 1 or 2 to actually finish should be made mods (pending*).

*Pending that they fit the seniority requirements, etc.

That sounds unfair for those who cannot afford all the parts, or members of Skinflint Pennypinchers of America. (as I am, my gas tank is under 1/4 full.)
