Atgames Arcade Gamer

Post by battlezone »

Hi there!

I'm interested in building my very own portable genesis but i do have a question.
I have bought a arcade gamer some time ago, it has 20 games from the genesis in a portable device and i want to know if it can be modded with a cart slot.
As i am new to this i have no idea if this thing has any genesis hardware (GOAC) or it is pure emulation but the games have quite authentic sound. I've opened it up and found one chip that could be a rom chip, but i dont know how these look like, how do i know for sure?

Thanks in advance ;)

These are emulation based, AFAIK. Only the model that comes with a cart slot already can use real cartridges.

That's a Radica PlayTV, not an AtGames console (which is what's being discussed here). They are very different things.
