Nintendo 64 Power-switch problem

Hey Modders

I am tryin´ to fit a N64 in a NES -Case and a NES in a Toaster (yeah, you might know these Toaster-mods)...
The Nes-Toaster works quite well. BUT

The N64 is trying to annoy me... my Problem:
The NES case has originally 1 Power-Switch and 1 Reset switch, the wiring is quite easy, but the N64 has a complicated Power-Switch, because it has 8!! Pins... What are these all about? How can i Connect them with a simple NES Power On switch (which has 2 pins...)
i have analyzed it and it seems that the N64 Power-on-Switch connects 4 of these Pins each, Means 4 of 8 are the same and I guess 4 are Ground and the other 4 are splitted into 2 different Voltage-levels??

Please can you help me?
(btw: if you know, what my problem is .. shortly: i will connect these 8 pins with the original Power-on switch from the NES)

If you wanted you could just solder the N64 to be 'always on' like is done in N64p's and then just hook up the NES switch to the 12v and GND lines of the N64. There's no reason you need to put the switch back to the same place This is assuming your not using the stock N64 power supply, you'd also then need to have a regulator from the 12v line to the 3.3v line outputting the correct voltage, and then you could just use any 7.4v - 12v power supply

lucid pretty much covered it, wire it permanently on and attach the power switch to the 12v line. Might I suggest taking it one step further and putting the toaster inside the n64 case?

Wire it like a portable. Run 12v in from the plug in the back to one pin on the NES switch, then run the other pin to pin 7 on the N64 power switch. (they're labeled.) Then take a TI PTH08000/08080 (see: any N64p ever made besides the L64) and wire the 3.3v output to pin 6 on the power switch.
