Recently became re-addicted to DDR! So........

Ok...first time i played DDR i was skeptical.....i thought it was wussy among other things.....so my friend brought over his ddr pad and game....i got on it, and i sucked at it....but i was hooked.....all my predispositions about ddr vanished....that was last year...2 weeks ago i go to the gokart track, and to my surprise they had a ddr machine. I put 75Â¢ into it...and it rekindled my addiction.....so now ive gone and saved up for DDR ultramix for xbox and a pad...problem is, i hate the cheap plastic pads they have out there, but i dont have the money for a nice expensive one....so ive decided to build my own.
after i buy the game and cheap pad and use it for a while, im going to build a nice metal, or at least wooden, platform for myself. ive even designed my own arrows for it. im planning this ahead of time so i can plan a budget for it and not have to scrap it half way through... im currently working on the internal schematics for it.

so, what are your ideas/thought/comments?

I started making a ddr pad once, then I got sidetracked when my ps2 broke :'(
But now I have a ps1 (and a few ddr clones for the pc) so I think I should make one. I need the exercise

Also, I recommend never playing ddr with somebody of a questionable sexual orientation (still shudders about that comment on his butt)

I'm making a pad for FFR. It is really true that one game has you addicted. Playdium used to have it hooked to a jumbo screen, but it was slow, so I hangout at CHQ and Jonny Lee's now.

yeah, and I found out after that night of DDR that one of my best friends is bi. I have no problem with it, I just wished he wouldn't comment about my butt

I'd just buy one, but I don't play much DDR. Only when I am bored, go to a party, go to an arcade, or feel like making a fool of myself.

Which, when I think about it, is quite often.

I believe in windows theres a font called westminster or something like that thats sort of techy, I dont know. I like the look of the font now, Im not sure if it needs to be changed. Well, whatever.
