gamecube battery charge and play
If I wire nimh batteries like this, can I charge and play at the same time? Or would it be better to have a switch between charging and playing?

Re: gamecube battery charge and play
BAD IDEA
Only do this if the battery had some kind of a charge circuit included with it.
I always like using dpdt switches to wire the battery so that it only charges when the unit is off. Using the DPDT switch you can even hook up a wall power jack and have that disconnect the batteries so that you can use both wall/battery without worrying about frying anything.
It's all in Ben's book under the SNES section
