Low profile buttons

I want to get low profile buttons for my PS1A...what are the lowest profile buttons I can get (other than the Intellivision's plastic buttons)?

You file down the backs of the buttons, then hot glue em to a flat piece of plastic so they dont fall out.

Canniblize the contacts from a game controller or pc keyboard. (about as thick as a few sheets of paper.)
