I'm sorry to clog up the forum with "help me please" posts but I have hooked up my screen after relocating sound and video and I get a picture but it goes all "artifacty" and messed up after a while. Anyone ran into this problem before? I was thinking it may be due to the thickness of wire I am using for AV and ground to the screen but I can't be sure.

It would be your ground wire. Make sure you have redundantly grounded the screen.
If that doesn't work, make sure you motherboard has a heatsink on it. The video gets bad right before the chips fry (if the auto shut-off mechanism has been trimmed off, not sure about that though).
If THAT doesn't work, then you need to shoot Zenloc a PM, because you probably messed up your video relocation which is beyond my expertise (I have yet to try a video relocation).
If THAT doesn't work. Throw your motherboard into oncoming traffic.
