WTB: replacement psone lcd ccfl original backlight

Post by devileyebrows42 »

So i was working on my n64p the other day and im extremely close to finishing it.

I connected the n64 console, screen and regulator to my battery and everything worked fine...except the psone backlight. I even get a good picture there just isnt any light. im assuming the backlight is fried for some reason. so i was hoping someone who did the led mod had an extra backlight or a broken psone lcd screen lying around so that i could get the original backlight. multiple ones would be nice. im not interested in the led mod.

I'll look when I get home, I might still have the backlight from the PSOne screen I made into a projector. I'll let you know.

Edit: Turns out I just have the thin fluorescent bulb, none of the rest. (you probably need the inverter which I don't have)
