I hope this isn't a retarded question.
I removed a large blue capacitor that's near the power source on my Snes ver. 1 mobo. I'm going to put it back later by reattching it in the same fashion as Ben did to the capcitors on the SNES ver. 2 mobo. I would like to know which terminal on my capcitor is + and which is - . Furthermore, if I reattach this capacitor incorrectly, could I fry the mobo ?

What is electrolytic, and how can I tell if it is one. The Capacitor looks like a tiny can, and is sky blue on one side, and dark blue on the other.nos_slived wrote:If it is electrolytic(I sure I spelt that extremely wrong), then there should be a stripe down one side. It is -. If connected wrong, you will probably be out an SNES.
