Can a magnet damage the snes mobo? I had a small speaker magnet on top of it.

No. It's completely solid-state, as they said in the 80's. There's no magnetic amterial holding data, and computer chips cannot be harmed by magnets, except the ones that move cars in scrapyards.

What about static electricity ruining a snes mobo? I know if you don't ground yourself while working on a pc mobo, you could ruin it if you produce a static shock.

Yes, static can be a problem.

Instead of having to type your site's URL into your messages or signature, put it in the Web Address box in the profile editor. You'll get a www pic like mine. It's just easier, because you have more room in your sig for useless messages like I have, that's all.
