Foreign PSX black market?

So I got a PSX off some kid on the internet who said it did work, it was modded and he had some games with it so I figured, why not? After I received the pack from him, I was disappointed to find that the games had photo copied covers and the cd labels were also very low quality. However, they do not appear to be CDRs or anything. I have original copies of these games and there much different looking. The discs are shiny silver and have the game name laser embossed near the hole. Also the games also have an added logo on the covers, called "Players". Any ever seen these before? Are they black market/chinese copies? I'll get pics up later....

Compared to an original copy that I have in my collection.



Notice the lack of the Playstation and sony logos and the addition of their logo. Plus the case is way different. All of the games are like this. I tried to get a photo of the laser embossing but its too hard to get a good picture.

Nope. But they look like an ordinary CD with the name of the game embossed near the hub.
