Step Down Converter

Im looking at this converter what do you all think? Any good?

The step down converters on Ebay work, but they get quite a bit hotter than the Ti ones and they overheat easily.

Do you know were i can buy a single TI converter at. I went to ti.com exept it seems I only can buy in bulk.

Heaps of electronics suppliers sell them. I got one from Farnell.
