Man I hope they do a good job on it, I would love to finally play an atari for the first time, and make it portable. (Not in that exact order  )

Alright, maybe I'll drop my (presummed dead) 4 switch and use that to make a VCSp.

Atari has engineered the tools and code of the original games for reproduction on modern chip technology.
In otherwords, still not a true AOAC, and not capable of playing real Atari games. Still, true ports of the games will be nice, versa the crappy not-quite right at best Atari games in a joystick.

to make a long story short out of HK-47's links, this seems like it's going to not have a cart slot, but a place to put one, kinda like the C64 DTV.

yeah, its gonna have a place to solder on a cartridge port, so if u got one use it, or get one, as for the news on when this thing is coming out, its coming out on July 15th. it will have 40 games, plus some bonus homebrews, also its using REAL orrigional type/size atari controllers, and once u got a cart port in it, u can hook up your old paddles and play the paddle games, but one thing on adding in a cart port, ur gonna have to bypass the connetion from the Soldering holes for the CP, and to the Menu chip, and add in a switch so you could actually enable/dissable the games that are allready in it. BTW, its only $30.00, and some new Surprises for it will come out later. maybee a cart port adaptor for it? maybe new controllers, maybee even new games for it...... who knows? curt Vendel knows, and i knows him best. ill tell ya more later

Let me just say this:

1. Please stop spamming
2. We don't like it when people bring up an old thread just to post information that was posted in other threads.
3. CHANGE YOUR AVATAR!!!!! THERE ARE KIDS WHO GO TO THIS FORUM ON FAMILY COMPUTERS YOU KNOW!

Yeah, its not like we're not interested (we are), but we've heard all of that in other threads.
