PSone screen problem

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

PSone screen problem

Didn't really think I would have to make a thread, but every possible solution I've found doesn't seem to work. Therefore the screen is probably fried or something, but I'll give it a last shot!

With not power:

With power, it's black:

But when I push a contrast button or whatever button there is nothing happens. Nor will anything happen when the composite cable is plugged in:

I would say that the ribbon cable isn't making very good contact because the screen would turn funny colors but since your not getting any picture at all, all I can think of is to take the screen apart and clean if from all dust and what not and make sure that all your connections are solid. Otherwise I'm afraid your screen is fried.
