NUS regional id codes

anyone here know what the final letters stand for within the manufacturer's code on the boxes and cassettes of N64 game paks? id est, Banjo-Kazooie = NUS P NBKE (USA), NUS P NBKP (EUR) etc.

I have figured out that NUS = Nintendo Ultra Sixty-four; P possibly means "Pak"; N = Nintendo; in this example, BK is the cassette id for Banjo-Kazooie. The problem is the regional id. E for U.S.? I figure that P possibly means PAL and that J possibly means NTSC-J (Japan) and that E may identify an EIA/NTSC (or US) system. But there is an X and U used to identify Australia that confuses me. U? maybe UHF system but X?

any ideas?

also, anyone here have any photos of the Funtastic series in any color (but atleast 800+ resolution.) and possibly any of the safety marks on or within the console?
[photo tip: disable photo flash and use a soft reflection of any light upon the console. id est, reflect a lamp light off of a wall or cieling.]

It is pretty much the same thing on the N64 & GCN.
It should also be noted that 0x3F = Version number for N64 and 0x06 = Disc Number on GCN.
