sega dreamcast controllers doesn't work??

i have two sega dreamcast ok...

when i was playing suddenly the controllers doesn't work???
i try to see if the controllers weren't working but my controllers are working because i tested it with my other dreamcast????
how might i fix my problem??? the unit read games but the controllers doesn't work???
