Halo Custom Edition Portable edition problem

hey, when i first had this, i was the master, but when i installed halo 2, it messed it up somehow

after a while, i decided to install it again, and lo and behold, it started to work, so i re-installed my backup map files in the map folder, and im back again

i had to reset the settings for the XBCD gamepad (the driver im using for my xbox-to-pc usb controller), and for somereason, when i use the analog stick to look around, i look around too fast

is there anyone who knows how to fix the problem (no deleting halo 2 from computer) like a plugin that helps regulate the speed on how my joystick looks around in halo ce?

Change the mouse/joystick sensitivity?

the mouse sensitivity is set on 3, and the mouse sensitivity works fine; its the joystick sensitivity that's effed up by working too fast

anybody else got some tips?
