I thought that I would show some images and development of my Pn64 (Portable Nintendo 64) off here for people who have not seen it yet and or would like to see it without the need to go to my site.
This is my first Portable Build - and so here is what I have to show so far.
Achievements I am proud of
- I have not fried any parts of any kind.
- Modded my LCD screen form a Portable DVD player to take an input when it does not / is not designed to do that.
- Everything is going well...
- I have access to a 'state-of-the-art' Vacuum Former.
- Never owned an Nintendo 64, so this is going to be interesting! (PS1 FTW)
This is (of course), just a very quick story of how I did it. For the full thing, see my Signature below please
Nintendo 64 Console I bought from eBay

Taking it apart for testing and such...
PCB (MoBo) Modded with the Cartridge Slot Removed.
A complete Back Light Mod - Light box with LED's
The Mould Design Layout
All cut-out and ready to be fixed as necessary
The Screen LCD Bezel
The Mould as it is after that process

Adding the extra detailed parts to the design
The Mould ready to be Vacuum Formed

Moulds Ready to go (This is a Prototype model FYI!)
The final stage I am up to for now - This is the case cut out pretty badly...
PROTOTYPE = YELLOW REMEMBER!
PLEASE Visit my site, as the full instructional details with images are there!
A very special Thank you to Marshall - for his excellent case design, that he let me use in my own design.
If you need any help at all, PM me here, post a Question - or on my site if you want as that would be easier for me.
Post here anything you want to know about this Design and Portable Console build.
(Updates to this will be EDITS, not new Posts. So see the 1st Page and not any other)
Thanks, Haunted360.
