Haunted360 - Control an Electronic Device through a PC?

Hey everyone,


This has got me confuzzeled at the moment, as this is not my knowledgeable area.


How would you CONTROL (IE: Power (Switches), Motors and other DC Circuits) through an IC Controller controllable VIA your PC?

I know of Motor Controller and stuff, to control a Motors speed VIA your PC, but it has got me confused because I want to for example - control a complete video camera.

So I am talking Zoom, Nigh Vision Switch, Power, Record Button - all wired to a controller then controllable through a PC either by DB-25 (Parallel) or USB.

I would then need to run a bunch of cables to my pc from the controller controlling the electronic device. Here, being a Video Camera as an example.


Sorry if I am not making scene. I am a bit tired and my sentences are usually misunderstood.

you should set up a speaker too so you can say stuff trough a mic and scare the postman!

I need a controller that can just do switches and also motors VIA PC
