VDC-NUS chip on PAL system
would it be possible to replace the AVDC-NUS/MAV-NUS with a VDC-NUS chip, I know the two have different footprints, but would it be possible to connect the relitive legs of the chip up to where they belong with some wire? I ask this as it would be cheaper getting a VDC-NUS chip from America than it would a RGB compatable N64.

check this out, might be an option Replacement RGB Video DAC for Nintendo 64
He sells pre programmed chips.. I was talking to him about it a while ago, I think the price was 2 chips for $25 shipped (internationally)

I'd rather have a pinout for the VDC-NUS, his chip set-up is huge

Re: VDC-NUS chip on PAL system
If you made a PCB for it and/or used SMD resistors it wouldn't be so bad

Not entirely sure what you mean?

ahh.. nope, it doesn't look like he has that on his site. But it would be the same quality as a normal N64 using RGB taken from the chip that supports it. all the resister ladders do is break apart the signal (I think)
